Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2026
1. Service Description
MeteredVPN provides a prepaid, metered WireGuard VPN service. You purchase credits in advance and usage is deducted per byte of data transferred through the VPN. The service operates on a pay-as-you-go basis with no recurring subscriptions.
2. Prepaid Credits
Credits are non-refundable once purchased. Your VPN access continues as long as your balance is positive. When your balance reaches zero, your active sessions are terminated and no further connections are permitted until additional credits are purchased. Credits do not expire.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and WireGuard configuration files. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
Your use of MeteredVPN is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Violation of the AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
5. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeteredVPN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Remaining credits are non-refundable upon termination.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
